Principal Designer & CDM Advice

Through their experience and capability, Box Projects provide Principal Designer and CDM-A services, inline with the CDM regulations and Building Safety requirements.

  • Outlining Client Duties Box Projects will ensure that clients are fully aware of their responsibilities under the CDM regulations and can ensure that these responsibilities are properly discharged.
  • Pre-Construction Information We can help collate existing information, identify any gaps and then put together a comprehensive pre-construction information pack for our client's projects.
  • Design Reviews We can carry out a thorough design review with the aid of the design team and create a comprehensive schedule of residual CDM risks for the project. Design changes are then monitored thoughout the build period.
  • Construction Phase Plan Check As part of our advisory role to the client, we are able to review the principal contractor's construciton phase plan to ensure that risks are assessed throughout the construction phase.
  • Site Set Up Review As part of our advisory role to the client, we carry out regular reviews of a site's welfare facilities to ensure that these meet the requirements of schedule 2 of the CDM regulations.
  • Health and Safety File As part of our Principal Designer duties, we will collate appropriate building information and help create a compliant Health and Safety File for the project.
